This policy explains which profile information PaceStats stores and how it is used to provide your account, running insights, and personalized features.

Your profile stays private

PaceStats does not sell, rent, publish, or share your profile information with other users, advertisers, data brokers, or third parties. Your information is used only inside PaceStats to provide features you request.

Profile information we store

The Personal Information section of your profile may contain the following account details:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Date of birth and gender
  • Country and preferred language
  • Account role, subscription plan, and trial status

Running information we store

The Running Profile section may contain information you choose to add so PaceStats can personalize its analysis:

  • The date or year you started running
  • VO₂ max
  • Resting heart rate and maximum heart rate
  • Personal-record distances and finish times

Reports and personalized results

When you request Runner Companion or other personalized analysis, PaceStats may store the selected race, your inputs, and the resulting AI report so you can view it again from your profile.

These reports and results are private to your account and are not made available to other users.

How we use your information

We use profile information only to operate your account, display your profile, calculate personalized running insights, create requested reports, remember your language, manage access to plan features, and protect the service from misuse.

We do not use your health or running information for advertising, and we do not create public athlete profiles from it.

Storage and security

Profile information is stored with your PaceStats account. We use access controls and reasonable technical safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Only you can view your profile through your authenticated account. Keep your password private and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Your choices and rights

You can review and update supported profile fields from the Profile page. You may contact us to ask questions about your information or request correction or deletion of profile information associated with your account.

Policy changes

If this policy changes, PaceStats will update the date shown above. Material changes affecting how profile information is handled will be communicated clearly within the service.
